WHAT KIRAFIRST IS CALCULATING

Salary → chargeable income → tax → PRS saving.

1 · INCOME

We annualise your salary

Monthly gross salary × 12, plus any bonus or other taxable employment income you enter.

2 · RELIEFS

We estimate chargeable income

We deduct the RM9,000 individual relief plus any additional relief amount you provide. This is a simplified planning estimate.

3 · PRS

We compare tax twice

We calculate estimated tax before and after eligible PRS relief. The difference is your estimated annual PRS tax saving.

PRS/deferred annuity contributions qualify for personal tax relief up to RM3,000 annually through YA 2030. KiraFirst currently uses HASiL's published YA 2025 resident-individual progressive tax rates as the tax-rate basis. Actual chargeable income depends on your circumstances, statutory deductions, relief eligibility, rebates and other income. This is a planning estimate, not tax or investment advice.
